The Hearth

“There are only four kinds of people in the world. Those who have been caregivers. Those who are currently caregivers. Those who will be caregivers, and those who will need a caregiver.” (Rosalyn Carter)

Monte Vista Grove provides care and assistance for residents while protecting their dignity, encouraging their independence, and honoring their personal choice. The Hearth is home to 16 residents in private rooms with private baths. Medication management, meals, and daily assistance with activities of daily living are all included in the daily rate. Residents who live in The Hearth can walk (with or without an assistive device) to the main dining room, transferring independently from chairs, the toilet and bed. They typically do not need assistance with eating or toileting. Hearth residents dine with independent residents in the Rendezvous dining room and enjoy both their own activity program and all activities offered on the independent campus.
