NEWS of the POP-UP PUZZLE EXCHANGE

On the morning of June 12, the first-ever MVGH pop-up puzzle exchange was held in The

Commons -- but we're thinking it may not be the last! We started out with three tables full of

donated puzzles, and a mere two hours later, we only had about eight puzzles left. The

puzzles could be exchanged for free, but donations were also accepted. The hefty sum of

$38 was raised for the Auxiliary. It was all great fun - and we just might.do it again in the fall!

One caveat: After the event, on one of the bookshelves, we came across a small plastic bag

with puzzle pieces in it. They turned out to be the edge pieces to a small puzzle ... which just

may have been one of the puzzles that found a new home that morning. We think that it may

have been the puzzle that was just starting to be worked on in the Fireplace Room when

everything got suddenly shut down last year, and that somehow these pieces were bagged

separately from the rest of the puzzle. All that to say, if you got a puzzle without the edge

pieces (shades of green, leaves and such), you may want to check with one of us!
