THANK YOU! Staff Appreciation!

Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!

Dear Friends at Monte Vista Grove,

Your response to the request for funds to give our faithful and wonderful staff Christmas bonuses has helped result in over $82,000! This record-setting amount was augmented by8nonymous donors1,'"families of resident$, and others who care about all of us H6re at Monte Vista Grove.

Instead of a party, we gave out checks. Later, instead of a party, we baked cookies. Even later, staff received individually wrapped pizzas from Numero Uno Pizzeria. Thanks to all who helped in many different ways. It was wonderful to be able to help even while "locked down.” Bless you all!

And a Thank-You from one of our staff

Dear Cheryl,

It warms my heart to know that we all form part of a very supportive community at Monte Vista Grove Homes, especially now that we are going through such a difficult time.

I would lie if I said it's not emotionally and mentally hard going to work lately. My heart breaks every time I see a new picture is added to the memorial display in the Commons. Either from my time being part of the maintenance crew, or now in dietary, I treasure special memories from m9st residents on campus. It's impossible to not create connections with those who surround us.

I want to thank you, Cheryl, for being so engaged in collecting the generous Christmas bonus from all residents. I know it takes a lot of time and patience to complete this task.

Thank to all of you too for keeping us in your prayers. I also keep the residents in my thoughts, and only have good wishes for all of you.

Finally, thanks for the delicious cookies you all baked for us. I really enjoyed them, and even shared with my family.

Merry Christmas to you and all the residents at MVGH. Thanks for everything. Stay strong.
